Nancy Nussbaum to lead AP training initiative

AP is launching a new training initiative for members and customers _ AP Academy _ and it will be led by Nancy Nussbaum.

As Director of Training and Engagement, Nancy will oversee this new one-stop resource for training on AP platforms and products. Training through the Academy will be designed Featured imageto help AP members and customers maximize the potential of their AP services and customize content to reach their target audiences. We’ll offer on-demand videos on AP Exchange and other platforms, as well as live, online sessions throughout the year on emerging trends in the digital marketplace, AP’s distinctive news coverage and other timely topics.  We will expand the successful Definitive Source calls.

Most recently, you’ve worked with Nancy in her role as assistant bureau chief for Ohio and Michigan. She joined the AP in 1992 in Charleston, W.Va., and transferred to Columbus, Ohio, in 1998. She became broadcast editor later that year and news editor in 2001. Nancy was named assistant bureau chief in 2004 for Ohio, adding Michigan responsibilities in 2012.
